A mini World Cup took place in Dimitar Blagoev Primary on Thursday and Friday last week. Our students nominated four national teams which according to them will qualify for the semi-finals in Brazil – Argentina, Brazil, England and Spain. The school teams representing the countries were a mix of 5th and 6th graders and played two semi-final matches: Spain vs Brazil and England vs Argentina.
It was an exciting experience, great fun, the players had their faces painted in the national colours and they were supported by their classmates. Although it drizzled on and off throughout the event, everyone managed to enjoy the time spent outdoors.

Looks like you all had a lot of fun, although I don’t agree about the teams that will reach the semi final stages!
My pick would be Brazil, Germany, Spain and Argentina! 😉
