Last month during October, partner schools in our project visited our Turkish friends in Sakarya, near Istanbul.
We had a great welcome from our hosts, where we met with school staff and pupils, and worked with them on a cultural activity. We also met with the Mayor of Sakarya and the director of education, who were very keen that we left with a good impression of Turkey, and our hosts made sure of that in the warmth of their generous hospitality.
