After winning their semi-final matches, Spain and England met on Dimitar Blagoev playground to determine the World Cup champion in our mini World Cup tournament. Although one of the players was yellow carded, we enjoyed fair play throughout the whole match.
Spain beat England on penalties after the match finished 3-3 after extra time and 6-5 after the penalties in favour of Spain. There was a lot of suspense, excitement, cheering and even tears for the members of the two teams. We had great fun again and we’re looking forward to the actual World Cup to see if we picked the real semi-finalists.
